First Peoples' House Colour Logo

FPH Logo Colour Palette

New Logo & Brand Identity     //    Product for Print and Web

In 2018, Shana Dion, Assistant Dean, First Nation, Métis, and Inuit Students, sat down with me to talk about making a logo for First Peoples’ House. At the time, First Peoples’ House was undergoing a name change and Shana wanted to go with a whole new brand identity to match. Her vision included a bright colour palette and logo that reflected both a star blanket and Métis beaded flower to represent the First Peoples that call this territory home. In the past she had used the typeface “Tetra” and wanted to incorporate this into the new logo.
